- Yowzer! It's been a busy couple of weeks for the Bumbles Bounce familia! The show at
Louisiana Hots was awesome a lot of people showed up and it was a ton of fun. We'd like to
thank everyone who came out as well as Phaeton Lane and Custom Deluxe for rocking on such
short notice. Both of those bands are totally radical and have new stuff out so check out
their sites off of the links page. This last weekend we took a field trip up to UC
Berkeley to play for a bunch of rowdy college kids at Bowles Hall. Considering only a few
people had heard us before we had a great time and it was a totally fun show. I had to
sleep in a library...weird. Thanks to our friends who came up with us and to Chris (the
Van Wilder of Berkeley) for setting it up. We're going to try and play there again
sometime in the near future. Recently we started recording drum tracks for our next "much better sounding" recording. We'll fill you in on the details as we get closer to a finished product. it will hopefully be a full length with lots of new songs, so look alive cause it coming. We don't really have any shows lined up at the moment but be sure to check back cause I'm sure we'll be playing somewhere around town pretty soon. So I guess that's pretty much it for now...oh be sure and check out avbands.com for information on all the cool bands and where to see them in the AV. peace in the middle east, seriously! And now time for the news, first we'd like to thank everyone who drove all the way to Newport Beach to see us play it was so much fun rockin' out for you guys, and the other bands like Astorybookending and Futile Existance (who let us borrow some cymbals due to an unfortuneate incident on our part) so check them out for sure. Also if you weren't there check out the newly posted pictures, print them out, and tell your friends you were there. The awesome news for the day is if you're tired of driving all far to hear us wail, this Tuesday September 24th we are playing at Palmdale's finest, Louisiana Hots! So far it might just be us but were trying to line up a few other bands to rock with. Show up around seven that's when we hope to be underway. On a side note we've been burning cds like mad cd pyromaniacs and we've got a ton of cool demos to pass out so if you don't already have one drop us an email and we'll figure out how to get you one. The best part about it is once you're done listening to it you can turn it over and look at how handsome you've become. We've also got a bunch of new songs that range from the newborn infant phase to the going through puberty almost an adolescent phase so once we've got them all worked out we should be headed back to the garage to record again, this time without the trashcan lids. so be on the lookout cause Bumbles Bounce is coiled up, rattlin' and just about ready to STRIKE!! So brush your teeth and comb your hair cause we're coming for you. Peace out!! |
